The sun is finally out, and he definitely has got his hat on! Hip, hip, hip, horay! and we have most definitely been trying to make the most of it!
The kids were playing out on the first proper warm sunny day, and one of the neighbours got out his hose (NOT a euphemism!) and got them all soaking – which of course they all loved:
And with the sunshine comes the excuse to get out the summer clothes:
And today the National Trust at Wembury had a rockpooling session. The forecast was not great but actually it was really very warm – glad I shaved my legs and wore shorts! We had a lot of fun and actually caught some things. I do love the National Trust and didn’t realise that there was such a beautiful, sheltered beach just 20 minutes by car outside of Plymouth city centre.
And long may the sunshine stay – hopefully it’ll be like this in August whilst we are camping!
